The FIPSE-6 conference location is at the Aldemar Olympian Village Resort in Western Poloponese. It is a five-star resort with a unique spa located near the city of Skafida, in the prefecture of Ilis. It is 14 Km from the town of Pyrgos, the capital of the Ilis, 11 Km from the port of Katakolo, and 33 Km from Ancient Olympia. It is also 58 km from the Araxos airport, which is used by many charter flights in the summer, and 126 Km from the Kalamata International Airport, where both scheduled and charter flights arrive from many European cities, mainly in the summer. Several international scheduled and charter flights in the summer also serve the airport on the nearby Ionial Island of Zakynthos.

Conference participants would primarily land at the Venizelos Airport in Athens, which is 331 Km from the Resort. A FIPSE bus will transport FIPSE participants from this airport to the Resort on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. See more details on our Transportation Page HERE.
